    We were in Dulwich for a family silver wedding celebration at the Horniman Conservatory.

    The location was ideal, the principal reason we chose to stay there, and our host was outstanding: very customer focussed. He was an excellent communicator and most helpful when we had an issue with one of the chairs, resolving the problem before we had any need to use the chair.

    A very steep and narrow staircase down from the road, but we knew about that so it was not a problem. There was not a separate sitting room, but again, we knew that and we were only there for two days.

    A perfect base in SE London

    Our host was very helpful and made it clear that he was available if we needed anything. The flat was a perfect base for us. It is simple and not full of things belonging to the host. There was plenty of drawer space which meant we could be immediately organised. Everything is new and works.

    It is a small thing, but we would have liked a couple of wine glasses and maybe 2 egg cups.
