  Good location,

  * Unexpected pet fee: We disclosed that we were traveling with a dog when making the Booking.com reservation. There was no information at the time of booking about a $12-per-night pet fee. Only after our stay did the host contact us and demand an additional $216 for the dog. This was very disappointing and felt like an unexpected fee being added after the reservation rather than a clearly disclosed charge at the time of booking. We refused to pay. * Unexpected $100 sofa cleaning charge: We took extra care to protect the sofa during our stay by covering it with a blanket to keep it clean. The sofa was left clean and in the same condition as when we arrived. Despite this, the owner charged us an additional $100 for sofa cleaning after our stay. We refused to pay. * Very poor sound insulation: The apartment has almost no soundproofing. For several nights, there were people in the neighboring apartment fighting, screaming, and using extremely offensive language throughout the night. The situation was so serious that the police even came to the building. * Very limited supplies: For a 17-night stay, we were provided with only one additional garbage bag and one roll of toilet paper. * Old and damaged cookware: The pots and frying pans provided were extremely old and had heavily scratched non-stick/Teflon coatings. Using cookware in this condition is inappropriate and potentially unsafe. This is essentially unusable cookware and should be replaced rather than offered to paying guests. I was so uncomfortable using it that I had to buy my own cookware on the very first evening. *Low-quality synthetic towels and linens:* The towels and bed sheets are made of polyester. I am also adding photos showing the condition in which we left the apartment. I believe future guests should be able to see the condition for themselve I would recommend avoiding this property unless the host becomes much more transparent about fees and makes significant improvements to the apartment.

  The place is outdated and not as nice as the photos. No laundry and room smells.
