Bad experience
The location
Very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, this apartment did not meet our expectations at all. We stayed there with my wife and my son, and the sleeping arrangements were particularly disappointing. The double bed was far too small for two adults and was not comfortable for a couple. The sofa bed provided for my son was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and he had a very poor night’s sleep during both nights of our stay. The check-in and check-out times were also quite inconvenient. Check-in was only from 4:00 PM, while check-out was required by 10:00 AM. As our check-out was on a Sunday, I contacted the property well in advance and politely requested a late check-out until 12:00 PM, but this was refused. Another aspect that I found particularly disappointing was the security deposit procedure. At the time of booking, we were required to pay a £250 security deposit through a third-party service called “SafeGuest”, or alternatively pay an additional £30 to avoid being liable for potential damage during our stay. This was the first time I had encountered such a system when booking an apartment through Booking.com. I found it unusual, inconvenient and not very reassuring as a guest. Considering the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, the restrictive check-in/check-out times and the additional SafeGuest security deposit/fee, our overall experience was very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend this apartment and would not stay here again.

OK-ish but not a luxury or amazing place to stay. A bit overpriced, too.
The flat is clean and has everything you need for a short stay. It is a short walking distance from an area with cafes and clubs. I got a nice email message from the managemnt company after check-out.
The flat is not luxury or stunning, the description is misleading. The water in the shower was either scalding hot or ice-cold. The door lock downstairs was very hard to operate, it took a lot of effort to open. The bedroom is tiny, a double bed barely fits. The kitchen occupies half of the living room, which is otherwise quite small. I wouldn't recommend this flat for couples with children. Also, I was under impression that there is an off-street parking in front of the property, but I don't think I could park there legally. There is paid parking several meters away, but it's not cheap.
