Ant infested, uncomfortable and the worse host I have ever spoken to
Location is fabulous
We arrived and the lift was broken - host said it would be fixed next day and it took 2 days. I have disabilities and so this was a real issue. Host was aware before we arrived but failed to let us know so we could cancel and arrange something else. Apartment was also full of ants. I was bitten 15 times whilst in bed and my son was badly bitten too. Host was aware of the issue before we arrived and yet any spray was empty and she didn’t send anyone straight away to resolve it, just advised we don’t leave any food out and keep it clean. I spent 3 days I was there just cleaning the floor with a cloth, I bought more ant spray and yet couldn’t stop the issue. Host them stated these type of ants don’t bite, yet I was covered in bites and reacted very badly due to my autoimmune issues. There is only a glass door on the shower which is fully in view of the rest of the room so not suitable for anyone other than a couple. Very uncomfortable for my son and daughter in law with us, I had to hang a curtain over the shower door. The TV doesn’t work and is also only visible from the entrance door, despite been on a moving bracket, it can’t be seen from the sofa. The sofa bed is also very uncomfortable- solid. Just was extremely rude and unhelpful, sent messages after we left offering to assist with issues in the property and claimed the messages were sent during our stay (they weren’t), also told me that it was my problem not hers, despite the fact that I am still suffering days after from all the cleaning and 6 flights of stairs . I am a host myself and honestly I’ve never complained about a place before but this was horrendous treatment by this host.
