Great place to stay for a short visit to Charleston.
This was our second stay at The Ashley suites , we really had a great time but we’re slightly irritated that we had paid nearly $3,000 for our four night stay and we’re asked to strip the beds , load the dishwasher , empty the bins !

Overall, a wonderful place to explore Charleston from!
Great location, clean, spacious, coffee shop right downstairs!
The only problem was the noise from the restaurant below. I didn’t mind and actually found it soothing (it wasn’t super loud) but if you need absolute silence, bring earplugs!

No internet nor cable
The facility was a very beautiful and cozy unit with a great view.
The internet nor cable worked as promised so we had to use our data plans to stay connected. We were only able to watch any TV by screen sharing content from our phones to the TV. We reported it to the property manager. Once reported, it was shared there was an outage in the area but we didn't find this out until we arrived at the unit and noticed it was out. There was no prior notification that this outage was happening. A manager came out, attempted to fix the issue, and initially addressed the outage in the area. She then stated that it had been restored and that it was only our unit because other units weren't having this issue and didn't complain. Very little was done to fix the issue other than many run around stories about how they were attempting to fix it. This only happened because I continued to reach out to get updates. The staff I spoke with about the issue didn't care to put too much energy into making sure our stay was pleasant. They were all very nonchalant about the whole thing. No compensation was provided in reference to the cost of housing outside of a $50 refund for parking. This was unacceptable and will definitely be the reason I would never support this company and their properties again.
