    Outstanding, outstanding food. One of the best meals you'll eat in Sri Lanka and rightly feted. Best location imaginable in Batticaloa - just a few mins walk from the historic centre and fort, right on the lake.

    There is no a/c alas. But the ceiling fans are strong and do the job and the mosquito nets are sturdy

    Very well located and the kindest hosts one can expect

    Good location right in front of the lagoon and Dutch fort, few hundred yards from city center Very kind hosts, they helped us with our laundry Great dinner, we had crab curry or prawns all very Fresh and tasty Good beds with mosquito net Old House with a good atmosphere

    No air conditioning, only roof ventilator (which was not sufficient first then ok in the night) Noisy in the early morning (animal sounds, people praying nearby…)
