    Not acceptable – we would not recommend staying here

    We knew we were booking a budget apartment and did not expect luxury. But budget does not mean basic hygiene, safety and advertised facilities can be ignored. During our stay: • Air conditioning did not work (P0 error), despite temperatures above 30°C. Previous guests have also reported non-functioning AC, including in 2023. • Shower severely clogged – water accumulated around our feet while showering, followed by a strong drain/sewage smell. • Kitchen sink also badly clogged and drained extremely slowly. • Apparent mould around the shower and kitchen sink. • Smoke/fire alarm was detached and had no battery when we arrived. • Washing machine smelled strongly of burning plastic after about 15 minutes. We immediately switched it off. • Wicker chairs left black residue on our skin and clothes. • Three different Wi-Fi passwords were provided, only one worked. Worst of all, we reported the serious issues through Booking.com during our stay, giving the owners the opportunity to respond or help. They never replied. The only thing we received afterwards was an automated checkout message, which ironically asked us to report any shortcomings before writing a review. We did exactly that and were ignored. A low price does not excuse serious maintenance, hygiene and safety issues. We would absolutely not stay here again and cannot recommend this apartment.

    O responsável foi excelente, muito prestável. O apartamento estava impecável, senti-me muito confortável, tem tudo o que é preciso.

    Foi difícil encontrar a localização.
