  We had a wonderful holiday with 18 Grapes serving as a comfortable and convenient base for exploring

  The à la carte breakfast was a treat and being close to the beach and shops. Being able to choose from a menu of freshly prepared dishes each morning was wonderful, and the food was delicious. The beds were comfortable and luxurious, making for a very relaxing stay. We were well looked after, and the family-run nature of the hotel gave the service a personal touch. The rooms were comfortable, and the hotel had a lovely overall feel.

  We booked two rooms, but they were not connecting, which was less convenient for our family. The Wi-Fi in one of our rooms was very unreliable and repeatedly disconnected. The hot water in one room took a very long time to come through. The rooms were on the smaller side, with limited counter space. Although the decorative touches were lovely, they took up valuable surface area, and more practical space would have been helpful for a week-long stay. As the hotel is family-run, family members were often around, which sometimes made the experience feel a little less private.

  Fabulous island and hotel

  Staff were very welcoming and offered great suggestions to tailor our stay. Overall atmosphere and room amenities were excellent…top notch.

  The placement of the room furniture was off but we really liked everything except the layout was a bit off for us.

  The property is lovely. The owner Maria is incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful and generous. All of the staff were friendly, warm and attentive. Even though the property itself is lovely, it’s really the people there that make it even more exceptional and special… truly. The emphasis on customer service is felt. The sauna was an additional highlight especially after a long flight! I had originally booked 3 nights and extended an extra one.

  The friendliness of the staff made our stay and the gripes were annoying but we would consider staying again.

  Well located, well maintained. The stand out is the attentive & helpful staff who anticipate needs and nothing is too much trouble. Really good home made breakfasts fantastic yoghurt! Lovely private pools v comfortable beds. A happy experience.

  Usual issues, architects who never stay in the places they design as they squeeze in everything into a template which is too small. Not sufficient space for two people to hang up clothes or used towels. So living out of open suitcases - not luxury. No room for 2 people’s cosmetics. A desk where if you sit at it you can’t open the drawers. Style over substance.
