  Location and view Comfortable beds

  Very dated interior Kitchen very small and poorly equipped. Plinths all loose. Hot water - when tap turned on it sounds like a jet engine about to explode. Bath dangerously slippery - needs shower mat Wooden floors very creaky and noisy. Two main double glazed windows blown, completely spoiling view from inside. Draught coming through the one lounge window that opens even when it’s shut. Very old double glazing generally. Lock to front door very difficult to lock/unlock; paint worn off handle, needs replacing before lock jams altogether. Curtain track fell off when curtains pulled back; had to stand on chair to clip it back up. Garden area not well maintained - untidy; plants obstructing pathways/steps Glass panels around deck incomplete (doesn’t reach side of house, so there is a gap dogs/children can get through), and 2 panels have dropped from their metal brackets. Property tired and not at all homely, feels like an old Ikea showroom with no real comfort or quality. We were invited to look round the property next door (cheaper) and there is no comparison. 1 Rosemount is very poor value in every way except for its location

  Increíbles vistas sobre Mount St Michael, empañado por los muchos fallos encontrados en la casa.

  Las vistas sobre Mount St. Michael son espectaculares, con diferencia lo mejor de la casa.

  Las instrucciones para llegar no fueron demasiado claras, amables vecinos me ayudaron a encontrar la casa. En el texto decía que la casa contaba con dos baños, con baño y ducha, pero solo tenía un baño con ducha, el segundo era un pequeño aseo con taza y un pequeño lavabo. En la cocina había una cafetera para cápsulas monodosis pero ni una cápsula de café. Tuvimos que usar los sobres de café instantáneo con el hervidor eléctrico que sí había. No había servilletas, ni de tela ni de papel, y tampoco un rollo de papel de cocina, o sea que tuvimos que usar los rollos de papel higiénico del baño en vez. El televisor era de pantalla plana, sí, pero de una marca desconocida y la calidad de la imagen no era demasiado buena, los colores quedaban como difuminados por una fina neblina en la imagen. No había agua caliente ni en los lavabos de los baños ni en el fregadero de la cocina, tan solo en la ducha del baño, siendo el caudal mas bien corto aunque la temperatura fácilmente regulable. En fin, en general, decepcionados por estos inconvenientes, aunque la casa no estaba del todo mal, pero estos fallos nos parecieron inaceptables habida cuenta del precio del alquiler. Esperábamos mucho mas por una noche a 400 libras de precio.

  Warm & welcoming & petfect for what we wanted!

  The view & location were perfect!

  Only the fact there was no hot water but not a major problem as there was an electric shower

  Great place.high up affording great views and fitter leg muscles by end of week

  The view amazing. Nice newly renovated cottage

  Due to us travelling for 4 months we needed to cook. A few more cooking utensils would have make that easier. And a manual from the owner on operation of washer dryer and where to locate things would have been nice but didn't take anything away from the lovely place it was.
