Excellent except for the mould
The upstairs area is great and the living area is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for self catering and for longer stays. Our host had supplied basic condiments as well as detergent for the washing machine and the dishwasher. The balcony off the kitchen has views over Bodrum and is a very nice sheltered place to eat or to relax. Alternatively there is a sheltered table and chairs in the back yard that could be used for meals if you want to be outside. It is a 25 minute walk to the harbour and there are lots of shops and amenities in the immediate area. Car parking is available at the front of the house. Our host was responsive and friendly. The washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven etc all worked well.
The bedrooms are both downstairs and the main one has a rising damp problem. Apart from this issue we would have been happy to give this property a 10/10. There was a pronounced musty smell when we arrived and the walls around the bed are clearly water damaged and probably have mould. If you suffer from CIRS you should avoid this place. It would have been good to have bedside lights in the bedrooms and hooks to hang clothes and towels in the bathrooms.
