Quirky property in an excellent location for University of Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays
The communication from Carrie-Anne was excellent, from the minute we booked to checking out and everything while we were there. We loved the spiral staircase leading up to the flat and the quirkiness of the little staircase to get to the bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for what we needed and the addition of arranging the parking permit was excellent. The flat was.very quiet and couldn't hear any noise from any other residents.
The hot water being on a timer and having to use the boost when wanting to have hot water outside of these times - this isn't something we are used to and we found with 4 adults wanting to bath/shower we found ourselves timetabling who could use the available hot water when. Also, it may be that I misinterpreted the information but it didn't have two bathrooms, the main bathroom is downstairs, which is quite a treck in the middle of the night and the ensuite in one of the rooms is just a toilet and sink. Only suggestions would be some larger towels and a waste paper bin in the bedroom for make up wipes/tissues etc. Also given the hot water situation a dishwasher would be more useful than the washing machine.

Ideal location for our Portsmouth Uni open day.
This was our second visit as we enjoyed the stay so much last time. The host was very communicativecand everything went very smoothly. The property is opposite the University buildings and a 10 min walk to Gunwharf Quays and Southsea seafront. Two minutes from the lovely museum and cafe.
