  Comfortable property in a quiet, location with good access to surrounding area for great biking and walks

  Location - quiet; next to bike /walk routes.And easy access to get up to the mountain/ski centre(although not open when we were there re: wild fires). Outdoor seating area Comfortable, spacious property Off road parking

  No bins in bathrooms En-suite small Bathroom sinks take along time to empty Oven - timer not working; thermostat light not working; rubber seal on door hanging off Kitchen bin - if bigger you could make more economic use of bin bag; woukd be more hygienic if had foot pedal for lid opening Didn’t know what day bins / recycling/ food waste would be collected. Food waste caddy was full when we arrived and didn’t get collected in the week we were there Fitted sheet on double bed didn’t fit properly and kept coming off Kettle - quite old looking and takes a long time to come to boil Would be nice to have picnic bench / other seating in back garden Wardrobe space in one of bedrooms is being used for carry cot/ spare duvets and other stuff - would be good if that was all stored in the hallway cupboard . Thereby enabling full use as a wardrobe.

  Great location on road to Cairngorm mountain, easy cycle to Loch en Eilein. Spacious living area with covered veranda.

  Could do with better lighting for reading and main bed was not v comfy.

  Comfortable, welcoming and well located. A fantastic base for exploring

  We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The property was spacious, comfortable, and made a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. There were plenty of local walks nearby, and it was an easy drive to Aviemore, the surrounding lochs, forests, and mountains. After a day of exploring, it was lovely to come back and relax together as a family. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of pans, crockery, and cutlery, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, it felt like a real home away from home and was an excellent place to stay.

  Only a couple of minor points. One of the wardrobes wasn’t secured to the wall and was unstable, so we were cautious as we have young children. It may be worth checking and securing it. We also would have appreciated a washing machine, especially when travelling with young children. That said, there’s an excellent local launderette nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay.

  Great place and would likely stay again if available on our dates

  Great location, nice house and we were able to drop our belongings early so this was a bonus. It is very central to a lot of walks and cycle routes.

  Adding a gate for rear garden area would be helpful for pets. Overall decoration could benefit from a repaint throughout. On leaving day we stripped the beds and was disappointed to see the condition of the duvet and mattress

  Great location, within walking distance of the town and right on the edge of the Rothiemurchus forest.
