    - Very homely, great for a family of 4. - Host was very attentive, and quick to reply to any queries - Only a 20-25 easy walk to the centre of York - House is in a quiet area, tucked off of a busier road - Spar 1 minute walk away if needed - We would definitely stay here again!

    Excellent property close to York centre but nice and quiet. Very comfortable and well equipped. Completely enclosed safe back garden which must be lovely in the summer. Off road parking. Little supermarket around the corner very well stocked. My daughter and I had a lovely holiday. The house was super clean and owner just a phone call away.

    We drove for nearly eight hours to get there and to find a pint of milk, tea/coffee and snacks was much appreciated,

    Really enjoyed our stay. House felt homely very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Fantastic location to walk into the city centre and a corner shop near is great. After a long day sightseeing we watched movies and had takeaway. Great communication from the owner before snd during our stay.

    Home from Home

    Lovely clean and comfy property, everything we needed for a few days, property has been well thought out. Good shower, comfortable beds, good WiFi and a lovely enclosed garden. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with a spar shop 2 minutes walk. There is a bus stop just around the corner although we found it was cheaper for 4 of us taking an Uber into town. Only 20 minutes flat walk into town anyway. Margaret and Pammi were great hosts, we had an issue with the car and they recommended a mechanic who fixed it for us while up there.

    Bigger towels would have been nice but find this everywhere these days.
