  OK for a short stay, but needs modernisation

  1. Location - only 15 minute walk to loads of eateries on the Beeston high street, the tram at University Boulevard and the University of Nottingham campus. 2. Facilities - great to have all the kitchen facilities including a washer/dryer which really helped. 3. Hosts - helpful and communicative when needed. 4. Heating and hot water - very efficient boiler which gave us hot water and heating very quickly. If you use a Hive this will be easy to work.

  Being an older property there are a few issues to consider: 1. Staircase - The stairs have tiny treads compared to modern houses so big feet will struggle but there is a substantial bannister. 2. Location - despite being close to facilities, the road is noisy and busy until late at night. 3. Driveway - it is narrow and tricky to get onto the drive, but there are gaps in the traffic flow which allow you to stop and reverse. It didn't help that there was an estate agent sign up which narrowed the drive even more! 4. Bathroom - downstairs and very small, plus there was a leak from the toilet waste pipe.

  FILTHY, COBWEBS, SMELT OF DAMP & WEED, Rubbish - Refund promised and never given - DO NOT USE !

  DO NOT USE !!! The place was FILTHY, SMELLY, Full of cobwebs and stunk of WEED, so much it made my daughter ill so we had to move out after the first night of our three night stay and seek alternative accommodation. We spoke to the owner who promised us a £100 rebate as a gesture, but has never followed through or answered any further communications. Booking.com did not support the customer but just left it between us and the owner. The oven was filthy and had cobwebs INSIDE and hadn't been cleaned in forever. The kitchen utensils were very poor and hadn't been cleaned they still had dried food on them. There were low hanging cobwebs all over the bedroom ceilings. EVERY room had a plug in strong air fresheners trying to cover up the damp / weed smell. The bathroom light fitting was full of dead flies and the extractor clogged with filth. Outside was equally disgusting as all the rubbish buns were completely over flowing with additional black bags sitting around them, and the rear garden was totally overgrown. This property SHOULD NOT be on booking.com and should be removed and totally unfitting for a family accommodation. I have made a formal complaint to Booking.com but they never responded to multiple communications and don't seem to care or qualify the properties they advertise.

  Mangler kjøkkenredskaper, kroker på badet, få møbler i sitterommet for 4 personern (måtte låne møbler for stuen og soverom fra familie), nattbord og lamper i hovedsoverommet og baderommet var lite og plassert lite sentralt. Søppel utenfor og ingen oversikt over hvor og når å fjerne søppel.

  Disappointing an inadequate

  house Stank of weed. Host didnt answer their phone. Boiler didnt work so no water or heating for first 2 days. Bins were overflowing
