    Decent base for exploring York. But not somewhere to spend a lot of time in the property.

    Pros: This property is well located for access to York’s attractions. (Via park and ride) The contact Christine was friendly and responded quickly when we had some questions about the property and the hot tub was very enjoyable in the peaceful countryside where the lodge was.

    Cons: No WiFi. (Doesn’t say has WiFi, but I assumed everywhere does 😩) EE 5G signal was also weak. The property needs a bit of tlc to make it better (broken door handles, gaps in flooring, deep clean would be good) also, wardrobes were mostly filled with spare bedding etc so it was difficult to hang clothes and settle in. These were mostly minor areas but if sorted out would make the stay much more relaxing (e.g. not having to spend 5 mins struggling to get the front door locked...)
