The scenery
The mountain views at the Three Deck Mountain View Cabin were absolutely beautiful, but the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. We paid nearly $1,000 for a two-night stay, along with a $500 security deposit that wasn’t returned for three days. For that price, we expected a much better experience and accommodations that matched the cost. Several of the amenities were either unavailable or completely unusable. Guests were allowed to use the barbecue grill, but no propane tank was provided. The game room was practically off-limits. The pool table was taped off, there was no chalk for the pool cues, the foosball table didn’t even have a ball, and the video game system didn’t work. We were also asked to keep the thermostat set at 74 degrees while the outside temperature was 96 degrees. The cabin advertises that it sleeps 8 to 10 people, yet the kitchen was poorly stocked, with only one frying pan and one large pot available for cooking. To make matters worse, guests were asked to wash the towels before checking out. I had no problem doing that and even put the towels into the washing machine, only to discover that there wasn’t even any laundry detergent available. The mountain scenery was the only positive part of this trip. Everything else was disappointing. When you’re paying this much money for a vacation rental, basic amenities should be available, and advertised features should actually work. I honestly wish I could get all of my money back because this experience simply wasn’t worth the price we paid.

Blinds couldn’t be opened most of them where broken. The main bathroom shower the drain was clogged. The pool table had a rip in it. The toilet brush looked to be soiled

Our cabin cancelled our reservation last minute before our trip down to Gatlinburg so we were thankful to find this one.
