  Mixed feelings

  Bedrooms, kitchen, utility bathrooms were just what we needed

  Layout of lounge area was inadequate. Photographs showed that the seating area had a sofa and coffee table. However when we arrived the sofa had been moved to the side wall and a table that could seat 8 people took over the whole area and really left the property minus a comfortable social area. Bearing in mind that the property could sleep up to 10 people, a 4 seater sofa was not enough, meaning some of us spending the evening sitting on dining chairs. Most disappointing of all however was when we stripped the beds at the end of the stay, one of the duvets had large patches of mould on it.

  Overall good value for money.

  Spacious bedrooms, and bathrooms, good parking space, well equipped kitchen/diner.

  The number of bathrooms was great for 3 families staying. House was well equipped, which included a high chair and travel cot. Lovely views out of the windows of the countryside

  One of the beds upstairs was uncomfortable. The downstairs toilet was broken, although when I drew it to the owners attention, they offered to come and mend it. I didn't like that there was no direct access to the garden from the house for the dog, and the lawn was very long, which made it particularly difficult to pick up dog extreta .

  Ok but we won't be returning

  Plenty of beds

  Sat nav couldn't find the property we ended up at a prison down a very long lane, the living area was too small for the amount of people in our group, the pics on the website shows a sofa and coffee table but actually there was a sofa an very large table and chairs that were crammed into the very small living room area, which I would say is just the other end of the kitchen, I think 1 of the bedrooms down stairs is ment to be the living room, there is 3 bathrooms in which all 3 toilets have dark brown stains at the bottom and the downstairs shower trickles water out ( not very powerful) work surfaces were not clean and air fryer is all rusty inside.
