Great stay with the family in Prague center
Spacious comfortable apartments, clean and convenient. two toilets. We had apartment which faces inner hof, which was quite and relaxing. We had a great rest. The beds were comfortable. Great location and easy to commute to all city parts. The host responded to our questions / requests very quickly. whatsup AI chat bot via was helpful.
The kitchen lacks basic equipment, like toaster and microwave. But we managed also without. Clear instructions how to find apartment were lacking - it took us a while to figure it out. We came by car. The parking on the street nearby is extremely hard to find. There is no dedicated place to short term parking for luggage drop off. It was a stressful experience

Online check-in was quite an experience!! To get your 6-digit door code, you have to hold your passport next to your face and take a picture. As if that wasn't enough, you also have to enter all your passport details manually. The website promises 24/7 assistance, but it doesn't take long to realize you're chatting with an AI receptionist. Once you've struggled through the photo process and think you're finally done, it asks you to enter the details of the other guests. But there are no other guests! You'd think you could go back and change your reservation to one person, right? Don't get your hopes up! That's not an option. Eventually, you email the hotel and wait, all while receiving reminder after reminder telling you to complete the online registration to get your room code. Surely, there must be another option? Well, yes. You can go to another hotel, show your passport in person, and get your key there. The only catch? It's a 20-minute walk away. Finally, you call the hotel, and someone actually answers! You ask if he can check you in using the passport photos you emailed. 'Unfortunately,' they haven't received any emails! But you got the email address from their own website. How does that even happen? Apparently, you sent it to the wrong email address!! You should have emailed the front desk instead. So now you have to beg him to retrieve your passport photos from the reception's email account and check you in. And hooray, he finally does! Thank you for my 6-digit door code! The building is old but in a good location. The floors are clean, but the furniture is dated. The towels definitely need replacing. That's a must. And if you're not out by 10 am, be prepared for an angry lady banging on your door to hurry you along.
