  Beautiful but incredible noisy.

  Spacious and beautiful apartment.

  Incredibly noisy due to train bridge right beside house and bad insulation for noise. Hard to sleep even with earplugs, except between midnight and 5 am during which trains are infrequent. We unfortunately booked for 6 nights. After 3 nights with very bad/short sleep we contacted the owner to ask if we could get a reimbursement if we left earlier, but the answer was no. While people of course differ regarding sensitivity to noise, for us it was very bad and by far the noisiest we've experienced during our month in Japan. I'm surprised others have not remarked on this.

  Super miejsce, wygodne łóżka w stylu japońskim

  Intensywny zapach tatami - nam nie przeszkadzał, ale nie każdy może go lubić. Koło domu są tory kolejowe i ciągle jeżdżą pociągi.

  Sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft

  The Gran Baika can be highly recommended. It not only met all our expectations, but far exceeded them. The landlord was always easy to contact and responded very quickly. He was also always helpful with questions about the local area. The location of the accommodation is central and there are 2 train stations nearby (10 minutes walk).

  Lovely host, awesome apartment, everything you need :-)

  The host of this property is absolutely fantastic. All messages were responded to so swiftly and communication was warm, kind and friendly. One of the best hosts we've ever communicated with. The property itself is SO spacious for an apartment in the middle of Osaka. We were only 2 people, so it was well in excess of our needs! But for larger groups it would be excellent as it is so well priced for the space you get. We stayed for just over a week and I loved that everything we needed was there. It was easy to cook in the kitchen which had everything you needed to create simple meals. As well as things you would expect when booking, like the kitchen and spacious washer and separate dryer, there were also thoughtful extras like extension cords and power boards which just helped make our stay easier. While the building itself is a little older, the amenities felt really luxurious. The towels were gorgeous and SO soft and fluffy and the bedding was fresh and clean. The apartment has a lot of character with lovely little traditional touches like a small alcove and beautiful woodwork along the ceiling between two of the rooms. There are also tatami floors in most of the bedrooms for an lovely authentic Japanese feel. I would highly recommend!
