  Could have been wonderful but wasn’t!!! Made the most of it!

  Location was wonderful- logged needs tlc

  Wasn’t worth the hefty price tag for 3 nights. 4 forks for 8 of us! Broken floors. Doors don’t close properly! Had not water for over 24 hours had to walk to services for a toilet! Location was beautiful made the most of it! Also fridge wouldn’t get cold had to bin lots of food! Hot tub was dirty my husband and had to clean it filters were disgustingly dirty. Sent new filters Sunday at 11.30 am! We booked something more premium to celebrate finishing GCSEs however was left disappointed. Was offered early check in month ago yet when we arrived cleaner was there no issue we went for coffee down the road however lodge had barely been cleaned! Was dirty cob webs and broken blinds everywhere!! We are not moaners either but basics nit met! No running water washing facilities and toilets throughout for me are basics! Septic tank was full and backed up! We made the most of it once sorted but not the best!!

  The location was great

  The property was filthy, the fridge was disgusting had to go buy bleach to clean bathrooms and kitchen 😖 the patio doors (all in Lodge) didn't lock at all the blinds were all broken, fencing on decking was broken in places, which with children is a worry.. .. The barbecue was disgusting we had to buy a cleaner product for it, before use, as it was easier yo clean than start on the oven and the hot tub was dirty full of dirt.. We paid a lot of money to stay in this place, which we felt was very overpriced and not worth it. deffinately not 5* which is a shame as its perfect size for a large family get together..

  Thanks for a great week, the place had everything we needed and the hot tub was a nice treat after a long day exploring. Well located and it was lovely and quiet, even with the other lodges occupied. We had a great time and would definitely recommend, thanks
