We will be back!
The location was fabulous. The sunny deck was great for reading and Al fresco dining. We walked all around town, and were close to the Mill, dog parks, and the fabulous Das Kaffehaus. Hostess made us delish muffins for our arrival.

A small very stylish gem in a lovely town.
The enclosed garden for the dogs was excellent. The bathroom is splendid. The bed was very comfortable. The whole place gave a feeling of consistent consideration of what might be needed and and providing it stylishly.
While I appreciate that it was also a bed which creates limitations of its own. And while I understand why it was provided the sofa was not wonderfully comfortable. It has this in common with every other sofa bed I have ever encountered. This was by no means the worst I have ever used. There are one or two I have used that I would suggest would be suitable for extracting confessions, this was not one of them. But both I and my partner are readers so comfortable circumstances add to the experience.

Comfortable, quiet and pet friendly oasis in a picturesque part of Castlemaine.
Lovely accommodation behind the owner's house with its own private entrance, a secure private garden and a very nice bathroom with bath. The afternoon tea and chocolates provided were a nice touch. Bev met us at check in, was very friendly and welcoming, and explained everything we needed to know. This is a genuinely dog friendly accommodation and our little pooch was well catered for with a securely fenced yard and bowls provided. We particularly liked the freestanding bath, the toiletries, the lovely views and the location near the Mill complex. Would definitely stay here again. So hard to find comfortable pet friendly accommodation and this ticks all the boxes.
We struggled a bit with the TV remote control but that is a very minor thing.
