Don't do it
Booked for my colleagues who work and stay all over the UK, in 2 years of booking accommodation this is the first time they have refused to stay in a property. Initially booked accommodation based on good reviews however these are either false or out of date, booking was for three nights but left after one, would have left sooner but could not find suitable last minute accommodation for 4 men plus 2 vehicles.
Cleanliness of the overall property was shocking. Broken and stained beds, black mould around the bath and kitchen sink. Frying pan to cook evening meal was dirty, rusting and missing its handle, just generally shabby peeling wallpaper, marks on walls, stains etc.. To add insult to the stay the property charged a "cleaning fee". No response from the host regarding these issues and a very disappointing response from Booking.com, will be requesting a chargeback with my bank due to lack of response. I have 20+ photos and a video showing the condition of the property but currently Booking.com does not allow photos to be added to reviews Update 3/9 Further to your response I also have timed stamped photos and videos and still no refund for my stay. Also you note you would welcome the opportunity to investigate my claims, see message correspondence 30/7 last message received from you "Hi Jennifer, thank you for letting me know. I will inform management and get back to you in a few working days" you did not get back to me.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was very clean, warm, and cosy – perfect for a relaxing break. The Xbox was a delightful surprise for some extra entertainment. Having Tesco and an off-licence just a 5-minute walk away made everything so convenient. Parked pretty much outside too. Bus to city centre only took a few mins too and stop is almost outside. The host was lovely and attentive. Will definitely stay again!
