    Luxurious

    Beautiful furnishings, the best array of fruit, cereal, bread, butter, spreads, juice & milk for breakfast. Beds very comfortable, lounge & bathroom spacious.

    Small table and chairs to eat meals on cold days.

    Excellent value for money. We fully recommend it!

    I loved the opulent furnishings. that suited the period of the house. Also loved the availability of books, games, TV, WiFi etc. Breakfast choices were good and it was nice to have yogurt and chocolate treats! Spacious living, with outside patio, overlooking the garden. Quiet, peaceful, location. My husband was delighted when he realised that he had stayed in this home with the Orbell family when he was a youngster, and formed a lifelong friendship with the family. (After we were married we purchased Dr Orbell's Rakiura holiday home and are still living in it 53 years later!)

    Comfortable short stay

    Location near queens park was ideal for us. Breakfast options were generous.

    I could hear the family moving around next door. It didn’t bother us as such but i wasn’t aware from the description that the house has been divided up and this accommodation is part of a large house.
