    Fantastic experience of the local area, with a special house to enjoy.

    This was an amazing place to stay in all aspects. It was close to all the main sightseeing, yet far enough away to have a sense of peace. The house accomodated a large family group from babies to grandparents, with many added touches that made it feel special. The host was very generous and made our stay extra special with the celbration feast on our arrival night that was one of the most authentic and best meals we had in Portugal. They came in and set up the tables, cooked the food, and created a memorable evening for us all.

    Perfect stay for families with a traditional touch

    We had a wonderful stay at this house. We spent a week there with two families (four adults, four children). Sandra met us with some traditional portuguese Sangria, Chorizzo, cheese and sweets. The house is restaurated from a very old traditional casa portueguese - the kitchen and bathrooms are pretty new, almost everything else is old, with a special traditional touch and a lot of small detailes throughout the house which really give the house a special charm. The kids were supper happy with the pool (we were here beginning of April and the pool temperature was between 23-26 degrees, depending on the weather, which was sufficient for the kids to enjoy the water), huge garden, a sand place to play and the two little play houses. There is a market in four minutes walk and you can either drive to the beach (3-4 minutes) or walk (around 35 minutes). From the location one can visit a lot of things in the surroundings and it is a 45-50 minutes drive lo Lisbon. We loved our holiday here.

    amazing hosts, amazing house - brilliant family holiday
