  Logement à rafraîchir

  La gentillesse des propriétaires, et leurs petites attentions: panier de bienvenue avec des produits locaux pour le petit déj du lendemain, et petits souvenirs lors de notre départ. Produits de base disponibles pour cuisiner (sel, poivre, sucre, huile d'olive, thé, café). Parking. Bons matelas.

  Le voisinage: les chiens n'arrêtent pas d'aboyer, c'est très pénible. Impossible de passer une soirée tranquille sur la terrasse. De plus, il y a un bar de l'autre côté de la rue, qui peut être assez bruyant le soir. L'odeur d'humidité et de renfermé à l'intérieur de la maison et dans les armoires. Tout est imprégné de cette odeur désagréable. Mobilier vieillot. Pas d'air conditionné, l'air à l'intérieur de la maison est lourd et humide, difficile de bien dormir dans ces conditions (en dépit des ventilateurs mis à disposition).

  Big old house on a quiet side-street, well kept by friendly hosts

  The hosts, a dignified friendly couple, meet and welcome you in person. The house is well away from the main busy road, the neighbourhood is pretty quiet. The house looks old, but recently renovated. You have a private parking space with a locked gate. There is a "food truck" across the street, with some snacks, drinks and ice cream. A surprisingly decent grocery store (Meu Super Ginetes) is ~350 meters away (6-7 minutes on foot because of the slope). Continente supermarket in Ponta Delgada is way larger, but that's a 25 minute drive, parking, etc. etc. Unlike many hosts, M. and J. pay attention not only how the house *looks*, but also how things work. E. g. we appreciated several extension cables with a lot of electric sockets, as we have a ton of electronics to recharge. Believe it or not, this was the only holiday house we rented in ~10 years with *sharp* knives. A washing machine was very useful, and, unlike in many other places we rented, the detergent was also provided for free -- you don't need to buy a 15 Euro pack or bottle just for a couple of washes. All in all, quality to price ratio of this house was very high. We'd love to stay again and recommend it to everyone who likes a quiet neighbourhood.

  Some minor things can and should be improved. E. g., squeaking doors. The door lock latch between the 2 bedrooms was quite tricky to close the door, it should be oiled and/or repaired or replaced.

  Ein sehr gelungender Aufenthalt! So macht Urlaub mit der Familie Spaß!

  Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen mit tollem Ausblick. Gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber! Sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen! 5 Minuten Fahrweg zum warmen Naturbad Ferraria, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Hausbesitzerin Margarida und ihr Mann sind so lieb. Sie haben uns reich mit einheimischen Produkten begrüßt und mit Andenken verabschiedet. Wir kommen wieder!

  Vacanza sorprendente

  Gentilezza e disponibilità di Margarida, signora simpatica e accogliente. La villetta è dotata di tutto il necessario per trascorrere al meglio i momenti di relax quando non si è immersi nella natura di Sao Miguel. Cucina con tutte le dotazioni, comprese le capsule per il caffè, olio, sale e spezie. Frigo con acqua, succo, marmellata, burro, latte. L'alloggio si trova a Ginetes, un piccolo borgo molto tranquillo molto vicino alle piscine naturali di acque termali di Ferraria.
