  Cerca de Ortigia y amabilidad del dueño. Esta bien en líneas generales pero tiene cosas a mejorar.

  Las instalaciones un poco antiguas y el olor era de piso antiguo. Las almohadas del sofa cama muy malas, la entrada al edificio por la noche era oscura y necesitabas la luz del movil. La nevera y el aire acondicionado hacían mucho ruido para dormir. Están haciendo obras en el piso de abajo y hacen bastante ruido.

  Schöner Startpunkt um die Altstadt zu erkunden

  Die Wohnung ist ruhig in einem Hinterhof gelegen mit Parkmöglichkeiten für kleinere Autos im Hof (größere können auf der Straße davor kostenlos geparkt werden). Von der Wohnung aus kann man wunderbar die Altstadt auf der Insel erkunden. Alles war wunderbar sauber, die Betten sehr angenehm zum Schlafen und die Klimaanlage funktionierte perfekt. Zusätzlich lässt sich die Wohnung fast komplett abdunkeln, damit tagsüber keine Hitze in die Wohnung kommt und man nicht mit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen geweckt wird. Die Besitzer Massimo und Milena wohnen direkt nebenan und stehen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder auf der nächsten Sizilienreise!

  Very disappointing stay.

  * Poor communication with the owner from the beginning * Remote check-in without clear instructions, which caused problems upon arrival * The apartment does not match the photos. The renovation that has been done is nothing more than bad and superficial * The building looks well-maintained outside, but inside it is neglected, with cracks and humidity everywhere * Nothing functions as it should * Missing basic amenities and supplies * Poor Wi-Fi connection * Poor sound insulation * Mosquito problem * Uncomfortable, noisy bed that creaks * Cleanliness was poor; it was clear that no proper cleaning had been done * Random personal items were found inside, as if the apartment was still in use by someone else * Complete lack of organization and professionalism * The worst part: everyday items (kitchenware, dishes, towels) were old, worn-out belongings of the owners, seemingly kept instead of being thrown away. I really wonder why it has such a high rate. Overall, one of the worst stays I’ve had, despite being among the most expensive. I’m sorry to leave such a negative review, but future guests must be aware. We paid 170 euros/night which is far from what we finally got and the owners need to take it under consideration.
