  Excelente!

  Gostamos de tudo. Excelente localização. As instalações são óptimas, a água da piscina estava ótima. A cozinha está bem equipada, com tudo o que é necessário. Não temos nada de mal a apontar.

  A bit disappointing

  It’s clean and Sandra was very nice in showing us around and dealing with issues

  We have stayed in Madeira many times and benchmark this property against others used, also in Calheta, which is a lovely quiet village We agreed to rent this “luxury” property because Alexis told us that the price we paid was for the whole property. This does have some issues. We stayed one week. Despite the photos on google this property is actually an apartment of two bedrooms and a kitchenette on the swimming pool floor. The two floors above are reserved for the owners and can’t be accessed. There is one Parking space but even a small Renault clio struggles to park on the steep downhill slope and still close the gate behind. The garage is for owners use only. There are ongoing Building works behind which means constant construction noise and loud music from 8am to 5.30pm Monday through Saturday. Despite advertised as 4 beds there is only one toilet in the single bathroom which makes it very hard for 4 people to use. There is land next door occupied by 16 chickens and the 3 Roosters wake up at 5.30am and crow until about 7.30am daily. Bring your ear plugs The Hot water does take a while to come through so run it for about 90 seconds before getting into the shower They initially give you only two rolls of toilet paper for a week. But we did ask for and were provided more when we ran out. There are no shower toiletries provided at all so remember to bring all you need. There is no midweek charge of sheets or towels. So make them last. Curiously all power to the property was cut ten minutes before we were due to vacate at 11am which meant final packing in darkness. Finally the prices quoted are for two persons only (despite the two rooms and four beds). We found this out only when we arrived with our daughter and had to give £175 more cash to the owners. We did enjoy the heated swimming pool and were grateful for the later check out time of 11am (10am is the norm here).

  Would stay there again in a heartbeat, you need a car to get around and parking is included.

  Location was high up, which is what we wanted. Room sizes were great, each with pool view. The view and sunsets from the pool area were stunning. Roosters/goats on property next door were fun!

  No luggage racks in bedrooms No pool noodles/toys, pool was heated, but could have been a little warmer

  A perfect house in a perfect location for us as a family as it was comfortable, relaxing and exactly what we needed.
