Minutes from city center. Located at end of road in very quiet setting. Building & grounds are absolutely gorgeous with warm comforting spaces inside & bright, airy, well landscaped spaces outside. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with every modern convenience provided along with refined special touches like in-room tea service. Large walk-in shower and bed to melt away in. The hotel is a dream to just walk around and enjoy the spaces. The adjoining restaurant provides breakfast & dinner service with an excellent list of locally sourced wines. There is also an enormous lounge just off the reception with multiple sofas and leather lounge chairs to sit and relax. If you happen to be visiting during colder periods, you will have the extra enjoyment of a huge wood burning fireplace to take the chill off those cool nights. The staff is exceptional and accommodates every request with the utmost sincerity & generosity. This is a unique property & easily one of the best hotel experiences I've encountered in all my travels. p.s. I would be remiss in not mentioning that the hotel also includes a first-rate spa with all manner of services available. Will definitely be revisiting this property!

An excellent property to recuperate from the Camino.
After the Camino we wanted a comfortable place to rest. The location was near to old town in a quiet part of Santiago. The reception staff was friendly and welcomed us to the property. Our room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and we slept well. We had an early flight so we only ate in the cafe and also via room service.

Maybe this hotel does not know it is a Relaix Chateau.
I liked the historical nature of the building. The staff were friendly.
The location was not great for me. Too remote and the staff was friendly but not equipped to handle the level of clientele. My taxi to the train station was 2 hour before my scheduled departure and they called at the last moment and said your car is here… There was another group from the hotel on the same train. We both were this was bad. The dinner fair at best and my appetizer was not edible. Why make the trip to some place outside the city for a fairly poor experience! Pool is beautiful but NOT heated…

A special hotel with an amazing restaurant and a great spa
This is a fantastic hotel located about 2.5 miles from the centre of Santiago. It has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Great spa. Great casual cafe for lunch or lighter bites and an excellent restaurant. The tasting menu and wine pairing is a special treat.
