  The view was nice.

  Unfortunately, our stay at this property was a huge disappointment. The condition of the house was far below what we would reasonably expect from a property offered to guests. The house was very neglected and damaged. There was mould on the walls, stains throughout the property, holes in the ceiling, and a very poor level of cleanliness. In our opinion, these were not normal signs of use or simply the result of the building “ageing naturally”, but clear maintenance issues that require proper repairs and renovation. We also had serious concerns about safety. The doors could apparently be forced open with a strong push, and some of the windows did not close properly. During our stay, there was also a very disturbing incident: someone entered our private property and threw a chair at the inflatable pool table located outside the house. Considering the poor security of the doors and windows, this made us concerned not only about our comfort, but primarily about our safety. We reported all of these issues to the owner and requested appropriate compensation. However, communication with the owner regarding compensation and a refund was very difficult and frustrating. The solution they proposed was to send someone to clean the property, but this completely missed the point. Cleaning would not solve the mould, holes in the ceiling, damaged condition of the house, windows that do not close properly, or the security concerns. Unfortunately, the entire experience left us with a very negative impression. Given the poor condition of the property, the serious safety concerns, and the difficulties we experienced when trying to resolve the matter with the owner, we cannot recommend this place.
