The apartment itself was clean and looked nice, but unfortunately our experience with the management was extremely disappointing. First of all, be aware that if you check in after 7:00 PM, you will be charged an additional €20 in cash only. Card payments are not accepted, so if you do not have cash with you, you will need to withdraw money and potentially pay bank fees. The biggest issue was the apartment door. From the moment we arrived, the key barely worked because the lock was faulty. We were left locked outside the apartment for a long time and had to ask several people from the building for help. More than four different people tried to open the door without success before one person finally managed to force it open. Once we managed to get inside, the situation became even worse. We were afraid to leave the apartment because there was a serious risk that we would not be able to get back in. As a result, we could not even go out for dinner or breakfast, and we were effectively trapped inside the apartment from that evening until around 12:30 PM the following day, waiting for someone to come. We lost almost half a day of our holiday because of this issue. What disappointed us the most was the customer service. Instead of trying to help us, the first thing we were told was that if we required assistance after 7:00 PM, there would be an additional €30 charge. This was unacceptable, considering the problem was caused by their faulty lock, not by anything we had done. We felt that the priority was discussing extra charges rather than helping guests facing a genuine emergency. Even worse, despite knowing that we were locked out because of a faulty lock, they did not send anyone to help us that evening. We were completely left on our own. If we had not stopped several strangers in the building and asked for help, we would have been left outside for the entire night. That level of assistance is simply unacceptable.
