    Well.. where do we start. I would like to start by saying the actual apartment was done out lovely & would have been a great stay but unfortunately that was not the case. We got told to contact a direct number 15 mins before our arrival, at the point of arrival we tried to call z number & had no luck, then found a contact number on booking.com and finally got through to someone who then provided us with the key code. Not great communication to start. We then go inside to find the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and clearly hadn’t been checked by the cleaners before hand. About 2 hours into us being at the apartment we then hear noises coming from the boarded up house next door, at which we assume is now squatters who have got in through the back door. Our 4 year old child who was with us was very frightened at what was going on. It was swearing & loud noises until around 3am, and was very unpleasant & uncomfortable for us all to have to listen to when all we wanted was a night away. Now we can appreciate this is not the the property owners issue, BUT it would have been nice to have a text back to clarify we would be okay and wether or not to call the police if it got worse, unfortunately we did not hear back until later the next morning at which we had already left (6.45am) & even that was only a text to say ‘please contact the landlord’. I would absolutely not recommend this property to anyone I know, as I wouldn’t want them going through what we have especially with a child.
