  Welburn is a characterful village. Good cafe and pub. Very near Castle Howard. The house was lovely and clean, all the facilities you need. The bed was very comfortable.

  The parking and garden are not next to the cottage. The view out the windows are therefore of the road and the house opposite and an outhouse at the back.

  Fantastic property well worth the stay

  Brilliant property, great location and village the photos do not do it justice! Super clean and generally a great place to stay

  Door to the living room a little tricky to open we kept getting stuck may need a new catch. Some coat hangers in the wardrobes would be great

  Lovely location and nice cottage

  The cottage is in a lovely location and has what you need. it is clean comfortable and has lovely decour.

  Due to a fault we did not have hot water for the first evening and the first day. Once reported this was rectified and we had no issues after that. The gentleman who came and fixed it was friendly helpful and waited until he was happy it was fixed before leaving. He also advised if any further issues to let him know as he was only up the road. My main disappointment was the lack of tea / coffee and milk. We have stayed in many cottages and always had at least enough for the first day. We have also received some lovely welcome packages. Sadly this was missing on this occasion. Fortunately I had brought some with us as I like to be prepared but had I not this would have proved awkward making us have to go out to get them on arrival.
