We really enjoyed our stay at Abelia Mansion Hotel! It is a lovely, cozy boutique hotel located in a beautifully renovated traditional wooden house in the historic Sultanahmet district. The building has so much character and charm, and staying here adds to the experience of visiting Istanbul. It feels much more authentic and personal than a typical modern hotel. The location is excellent. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are just about an 8-minute walk away, and most of the major historical attractions in Sultanahmet can easily be explored on foot. Of course, Istanbul is a huge city, so reaching attractions in other districts requires public transport or a taxi, but that is perfectly normal regardless of where you stay. Breakfast was another highlight! It was fresh, delicious and very satisfying. We actually enjoyed the hotel’s breakfast more than the breakfast options outside, so I would definitely recommend having breakfast here. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the bedding fresh. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist. Overall, a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience the atmosphere of old Istanbul while enjoying a comfortable, clean hotel with great hospitality. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Excellent location in the old city. The room was very luxurious and very clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. I've enjoyed my late nights in front of the fireplace in the private garden.
