    Prachtige plek, uniek

    Het resort ligt op een prachtige plek in de jungle. De eigenaren zijn bijzondere mensen, erg gezellig om met ze te praten. Ze nemen ook de tijd voor je. Heel persoonlijk. Dat maakt een bijzondere sfeer. Ze proberen zo duurzaam mogelijk hun bedrijf te runnen. Je zit echt midden in de natuur. Op het terrein komt allerlei wild, ook jaguars, ook al heb ik die niet zelf gezien. Er zijn twee uitkijkplaatsen om vogels te spotten. De massage is geweldig. Ook het eten is goed. Een unieke ervaring.

    Het is met de auto (eigen vervoer) te bereiken, maar de weg is slecht, zeker als je richting Orange Walk Town gaat, eigenlijk kan je dan beter terug rijden richting Belize City en dan de snelweg richting noorden nemen. Wij zijn naar Lamanaai geweest, maar hebben er door de slechte weg veel langer over gedaan dan nodig is. Het resort heeft wel een update en onderhoud nodig. Sommige stenen in de paden moeten vervangen worden. In een van de sierkussenslopen zat een gat. Verduisterend gordijnen zouden fijn zijn.

    Großartige Lodge in der Nähe von Altun Ha. Die Gastgeberin Melanie war sehr nett, das gesamte Personal überaus zuvorkommend. Schöne Pools, sehr leckeres Abendessen.

    Es gab nichts auszusetzen.
