A beautiful spot to enjoy the Bernese Oberland.
The location is superb with outstanding views of the Eiger. It is quiet and very peaceful. The apartment is well equipped and very cosy.

チェックイン時は迎えに来ていただきました。部屋とベランダからは，他の建物に遮られる事なく，美しい山々を眺める事ができる。また，ベランダ下に広がる草原の木立の中には，鹿の親子が住んでおり，毎日のように遊び回る姿を見る事ができた。狐も住んでいるらしいが，こちらは見る事ができなかった。晴れた夜には，満点の星空を眺める事ができる。キッチンには，多種多様な食器類は勿論の事，ラップやキッチンタオルなどの消耗品の他，塩，ブイヨンなどの調味料も用意されていた。ラクレット用の小さな四角いフライパンが用意されているので，駅前のコープでラクレット用のチーズを買って帰り，楽しむ事ができる。コンロはIHヒーターになっており，こちらにもラクレット用の四角い加熱エリアが用意されており，スイスを感じる事ができた。大型の冷蔵庫・冷凍庫，食洗機，電子レンジ，掃除機，扇風機と家電は一通り揃っている。ランチボックスも用意されていたので，それをハイキングに持って出かけた。地下室に専用の洗濯機と乾燥機が設置されており，20セントコインを入れる事で使う事ができる。洗剤も固形のものと，おしゃれ着用の液体洗剤とが用意されていた。部屋には，洗濯物を乾かすための物干し台が用意されており，乾燥機に入れられない物を乾かすのにも困らなかった。最寄りのバス停までは徒歩5分，グリンデルワルド駅まではそこから5分，バスは30分置きに出ている。駅までは標高差があるので，駅に向かう(下り)のは良いが，上りは，特にスーツケースを持っては，かなり厳しいと思われる。フィルスト・バッハアルプゼー方面へ向かうゴンドラのフィルストバーン駅までは，下りで徒歩15分ほどだった。

Solo Haven and Solo Heaven
Awe inspiring view. It was so peaceful that you could not hear the town below. If I wasn't out exploring then I was on the porch. Adrian was very helpful and gracious by picking me up from the train station. He diligently took the time to show me around and explain how things work. The grill was great. I noticed my neighbors grilled out too. The use of the laundry facility was helpful and I made use of the portable drying rack. The access to the bus stop was close. It made getting to the train station quick and reliable. There are a lot of stairs down to the house.
I wish the bedroom and living room had window screens. The shower faucet was very hot to touch even though I was using a mild temperature. The shower line leaked so it was a challenge to keep water from going everywhere. I could not locate a light switch at the top of the steps in the chalet entryway. It can be dangerous to navigate in the dark.
