    My host made sure we had everything we needed and the property felt like home from home. Perfect!

    The only downside were the steps down to the property and someone parking in our allotted space

    Tolle Lage, tolle Aussicht. Nettes Apartment - nur für den Sommer

    Die Lage des Apartments ist traumhaft. Man hat einen super Blick über die Bucht. Ebenso ist die Lage perfekt für alle weiteren Erkundungen (Kap-Halbinsel, Chapmens Peak, Kapstadt, Simons Town). Unbedingt sollte man das Olympia Cafe in Kalk Bay besuchen (ca. 5-7 min.). Das Apartment hat eine sehr schöne Aufteilung und es ist alles sauber. Wir waren auch etwas zu früh dort, war aber kein Problem. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ging problemlos. Die Spülmaschine war kaputt. Aber es wurde sich gekümmert. Per Uber lässt sich auch Essen bestellen und liefern.

    An vielen Ecken sieht man, dass das Apartment schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Wir waren im Aug. 2026 dort, also in den Wintermonaten. Wir haben 3 Nächte sehr gefroren. Es gibt keine Wandheizungen oder Wärmedecken fürs Bett. Die Fenster sind überhaupt nicht isoliert und der starke Wind kam durch alle Ritzen rein. Einen Aufenthalt im Sommer würden wir aufgrund der Lage empfehlen. Im Winter definitiv nicht!
