    Light bright Akureyri

    Clean tidy close to city centre it was quiet & spacious big kitchen with a microwave. Parking for hire car was nearby. The church & old town within walking distance. easy to access lockbox suited our family of 3 with teenage daughter.everthing was lovely no complaints

    The facilities were great.

    For the apartment 202, the shower drainage was not smooth & would easily flood the floor. The owner may want to fix it.

    Winding and narrow staircase

    This apartment is still the heart of the city centre and 2 minutes walk from Hof Cultural and Conference centre, and near to many other attractions. There is a nice bakery just at the corner that we bought yummy pastries at very reasonable prices.

    No tea bags nor coffee powder. Basic kitchen utensils. The winding and narrow stairs mean it is a challenge bringing your heavy luggage up to the apartment. We stayed 2 nights and were disturbed by loud noise from the partying crowd and suspected gang racing their cars in the narrow streets. We could not sleep until 4am.
