  City centre apartment

  The location was spot on, right in the heart of things, I like to walk and walked most places, yet still took the city train tour which was very good and informative.

  Apartment is certainly quirky but not quite bijou. I think they have mistaken rustic and reality. The toilet seat was cracked and too flimsy, after walking all day guests like somewhere comfy to relax and sit, the sofa was neither, and the broken mirror is a total no-no and a danger. Shame about those little things as the apartment is in a lovely safe area and was quite even right in the centre. Little mini-mart right outside, everyone was so helpful, bars and restaruants all around and old town literally minutes walk away. Please sort the above details and you 'll have a cracking place.

  Gorgeous to look at, great location (if you can find it ) and THAT'S ALL THE GOOD I CAN SAY 🙁

  The bed is lumpy, saggy and squeaky. Pillows old and lumpy. Couch is not comfortable to sit on. Not a lot of fresh air as apartment overlooks a dingy courtyard. Pigeon poo in the courtyard, very noisy. Shower head has no attachment so you must hold it to shower ! Main mirror in lounge was broken, looked awful. The apartment looks pretty in pictures and VERY different in person, it feels dirty and claustrophobic. I did not like it at all ! As I pre paid I did ask if it was possible to have just 1x night of the 4 refunded as an act of good will, and the host has NOT even bothered to reply. Avoid this property in Bratislava !!!!!

  Highly Against Booking this apartment!!

  Only the location!!

  Our arrival took place late at midnight, and being thoroughly exhausted, our immediate priority was to rest. The apartment had been booked to accommodate four adults, with sleeping arrangements specified as one double bed and one sofa bed. Upon arrival, however, the sofa bed was not prepared, forcing us to make it ourselves. This was merely the beginning of an entirely unacceptable and unhygienic experience. Specifically, we discovered a rotten banana peel discarded behind the sofa. Furthermore, the sofa itself had a broken leg and was precariously propped up on a metal box. The linens provided were yellowed and unironed, while the pillows were old and worn. Regarding amenities, we were provided with only three hand towels; the fourth item included with them was actually a shower floor mat. When we attempted to lie on the sofa bed, it began to rock unstably as the entire frame was structurally unsound and the mattress was in an appalling condition. Consequently, it was impossible to either use the shower or sleep, and even the advertised welcome wine was missing. The attached photographs fully document these conditions. Filth was evident throughout the premises: kitchen utensils were covered in dried sauce, the freezer was filled with melted ice cream, and the shower was covered in hair and debris, which remained highly visible despite the dark tiles. Additionally, the bathroom completely lacked towel hooks, forcing us to drape a towel over the mirror. To make matters worse, the door handle broke off in our hands. Directly outside the bathroom, two loose bricks had been placed to serve as a step; one was completely unattached, shifting dangerously the moment it was stepped on. The windows lacked mosquito nets, failed to close securely, and there was no air conditioning. Furthermore, essential amenities listed in the booking description, such as an iron and a hairdryer, were entirely absent. We reported these violations directly to Booking.com.
