  Molto bello con qualche ma…

  Posizione meravigliosa, nel silenzio del mare. Avevamo la casetta più distante dal mare ma era comunque molto bella. Cambio asciugamani ogni 2 giorni. La spiaggia a 5 minuti a piedi molto tranquilla. Un ristorante dall altra parte della strada. Parcheggio esclusivo anche se non propriamente comodo per le moto. L ultimo giorno ci hanno fatto trovare un regalo di saluto molto gradito.

  Lo spazio cottura estremamente piccolo, ci si può fare colazione e poco più. Anche il fare una insalata per due diventa complicato. Anche il bagno molto piccolo non ha consolle o appoggi di nessun tipo.

  WORST booking experience ever for a GREAT place with very good value for money

  Great location with nothing between yourself and the sea. Cleaning ladies were very helpful and friendly. A nice greek tavern just on the other side of the road. Parking space free and available. Quiet. In front of the place there is NO beach. There are some rocks, which we used to sunbath. You may enter the water from the rocks, but it requires swimming abilities as it is already too deep. Great place for couples, families, people who look to get away from people and enoy nature. Many great sandy, rocky beaches around, as well as the Giolla (famous local place. Worth visiting) - not a walking distance. You would need a car. I would go back. Great location. Amazing quietnes. Clean sky with all the stars above. Perfect for a get away.

  The worst booking experience ever! I have never had such terible booking experience in my life. We booked the place. They asked (in the booking chat) for a deposit sent by bank account. The deposit was sent. 2 days after the deposit was sent, the host canceled my reservation. For the next 3 days I tried to get some information from the contact person about whether we have a place to stay or not. WE just wanted to know if we need to find another place or not. What we found is that many of the properties in Thasos (not only near by) are managed by Stefania. Stefania was the contact person for Acroterra as well. So, I was 3 days before going to Thasos with paid deposit, canceled by the host reservation and no communication from the hotel and the contact person (Stefania) if we have a place Stefania was not picking up calls. Not very responsinve to messages. The hotel was not helpful at all. All they said was "we will check and we will call you back". They never called back. 2 days before going to Thasos we deiced that we will sue this place, because they took our deposit, canceled out reservation and were not resposnive to tell us whether we have reservation or not. Our lawer adviced us that if we have a payment proof, this is a confirmation that the host received the reservation. And because there is a greek law saying that if the host cancel already paid reservation, they need to either provide same quality accomodation OR find another place with no lower quality and pay if there is price difference. With this knowledge and quoting the greek laws, we sent official emails to booking and the host demanding to have our rights by law. Les than an hour after this email, the host confirmed officialy that we will receive what we paid for. And we realy did. The room that we wanted was as in booking. The place and the local staff were truly amazing. Yet, the troubles and the experience before reaching Acroterra, were the worst I have ever had.
