A superb base, operated by an excellent host, from which to explore many fascinating places.
The Adamaina is a superb base from which to explore the Italian Riviera. Sestri Levante is delightful in itself but you can also reach the Cinque Terre towns with ease by train or boat. It is also easy to visit interesting places such as Chievari and Rapallo by train as well as bigger cities such as Genoa. The apartment is a delightfully comfortable base for all the exploring. It is very well appointed with facilities and impeccably clean. A bonus for us, as a husband and wife travelling with a friend, was the availability of two separate bathrooms. The apartment is on the outskirts of the town but you are literally across the road from the sea and you can walk straight on to the main promenade within moments. Better still, the host, Gio, is one of the best our party has encountered in many years of travelling. He was there to greet us soon after our arrival and to say goodbye at the end too. In between, he was on hand with advice if required; indeed, he proactively contacted us to suggest options when the weather turned a bit rainy. He is simply a very nice guy and excellent in his role.
