    Liebevoll dekoriertes Haus im Weinbaugebiet. Von den beiden Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf den Pico. Sehr sauber - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vermieter reagieren sehr schnell auf Anfragen. Lage perfekt zum Erkunden der Insel (Auto unbedingt empfehlenswert) . Ideal mit Kindern - ein paar Spiele wurden zur Verfügung gestellt, ebenso wie ein Willkommenskorb mit leckeren Lebensmitteln. Klimaanlage in beiden Schlafzimmern sowie im Wohnbereich. Absolut zu empfehlen.

    Authentiek en ruim druivenhuisje met prachtig uitzicht op de vulkaan.

    Adega JB in Sao Mateus is een authentiek druivenhuisje waar vroeger de druiven werden geperst. Huisje is heel ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ligt heel rustig vlakbij de kust. Mooie buitenruimte meteen voor het huisje met een terras waar we altijd hebben gegeten. Twee hangmatten waar de jongens heerlijk in lagen. Wasmachine en droger in de buitenkeuken geïnstalleerd. Huisje is binnen heel koel door de dikke wanden. Airco hebben we in de woonkamer daarom maar kort gebruikt. Die in slaapkamers niet of nauwelijks. Wifi was goed. Je loopt vanaf huisje zo naar de ruige kust met grote zwarte vulkanische stenen en rotsen. Vanaf huisje en ook de kust heb je prachtig uitzicht op de pico. Huisje ligt rustig en toch zit je zo in Madelena. Leuk havenstadje met moderne winkels en leuke restaurants. Vanaf huisje is een supermarkt met broodjes en alle benodigdheden op 10 minuten lopen. Contact met eigenaren was goed. Als welkom lagen er bananen en lokale kaas en broodjes klaar op tafel.

    Bedden waren te hard naar onze smaak. Keuken en badkamer zijn eenvoudig maar hebben alles.
