Excellent facilities, beautiful area. Would have preferred to have someone present in the property.
Great rooms with all amenities. Nice breakfast included. Lovely surroundings with trails in the property. Close to Whiteface Mountain and High Falls Gorge.
No one in the property for check in purposes. We couldn't open the door with the code send to us by text, so we had to call and get further instructions. Also, we only had one roll of toilet paper for a three night stay. Again, we had to call for it. They said they would send someone, but no one ever came, and we ended up buying our own toilet paper. Other than that, we were very pleased with the facilities.

A true gem in the hospitality industry!
We stayed for just one night, but left with wonderful memories. The motel is in immaculate condition. It feels like a breath of fresh air in the American hospitality industry. The comfort and attention to detail reminded us of hotels in the mountain resorts of Austria, Italy, and Switzerland: European-quality finishes and fixtures, with a simple yet harmonious interior. The split-system air conditioner deserves special mention: it runs quietly in every mode. That is unusual for American hotels, where the bulky units beneath the windows often sound like an airliner at takeoff thrust. Breakfast was a particular highlight. Since the pandemic, paper plates, plastic utensils, frozen foods, and products with seemingly endless shelf lives have become common in many American hotels. Here, we found proper tableware, good coffee, and, most importantly, natural farm products: butter, milk, yogurt with live cultures, jams, and honey. The eggs seemed so fresh that they could have come straight from the henhouse. For us, this was a truly delightful surprise. We sincerely wish the family who runs this motel—and whom we unfortunately did not have a chance to meet—every success and continued prosperity. Thank you for your care for your guests and your commitment to quality!
