    Accommodation Quite Close to Nelson

    The location was good. Our room and bed were comfortable, with reading lights available. The room was a good size. The manager is friendly and always up for a chat.

    There was only one very small saucepan, but we made good use of the electric frypan. The Fridge was small and its freezer section wasn’t very effective. The heavy door to the main corridor (we were in room 7) is stiff and quite hard to push open, especially when your arms are full (checking in or out).

    This place is cheap and cheerful and like old school NZ motels. Its clean and a pleasant walk to shops and restaurants.

    Old school, simple and clean. Guests are all very quiet. Plenty of parking.Walking distance to town.

    There is nothing not to like about this place if you want affordability.
