Overbooked and cancelled on my check in day

Overbooked and cancelled on my check in day. I just get message about overbooked by other guest and cancelled the same day afternoon I supposed to check in. So not nice to be on street with luggage and child, and try to look a place to stay, when it is way to late and everything is booked already.
