Large room in a quiet area away from the crowds
I stayed here for 5 weeks. It's a great location if you want a quiet spot out of town. It’s a 20-minute walk to get to the "main strip" with all of the restaurants and shops (via the short-cut through the rice fields). There are still several restaurants and minimarkets nearby. I was a bit worried when I arrived because the WiFi was only 0.1mbps (so unusable). But they saw me playing with the upstairs router and installed a new one (they had it prepared - may be because I had asked about the WiFi before I arrived?). After that I got 10mbps in my room (good for Amed). It’s 36mbps by router one by the pool. A long-term guest told me that the WiFi hasn't worked upstairs for years until my arrival. So, if you were worried about the previous WiFi complaints, they have been fixed. I think. It's a large room. Cleaned once a week. The area is pretty quiet. You get some noise from the coffee shop across the street but that stops by 11pm. I arranged a transfer with them from Sanur with the owner's son. That went smoothly.
The transfer from Amed went less smoothly when the driver's "Uncle" (I believe it was more of a friend than an uncle) tried to renegotiate the deal when he picked me up. So, check to see if the son or a third party is being used.

Wonderful hosts, great price, perfect location.
The owners are amazing and accommodating. The koi fish pond is the best part! And a lovely pool. Perfect location.
