    Great apartment for a family in quiet area of Canmore

    Excellent location, close to Elevation Place and restaurants nearby. Well maintained and very clean apartment, with kitchen equipment above and beyond expectations, great for cooking with family, there is also a BBQ. Three TVs, two bathrooms so a family with teenagers can relax separately. There is a pool, spa, a bar and a liquor store in the complex too. Hosts were very helpful, got multiple messages ensuring everything was great.

    This is a one-off, only applicable to the stay in October 2026. The corridors were being renovated and painted so a bit of a construction outside the door but only visible when going to and from the apartment. It will surely be all done in a couple of weeks.

    Ok but I would choose a different place in Canmore.

    Canmore is a great place to stay as a base to explore Banff National Park. The apartment is nice and clean, although the smaller bedroom is dark and the views are to the parking/street , not the mountains. The owners refunded part of the rent for the inconvenience caused by the remodeling and non-working dishwasher.

    Major remodeling of hallways, dust and construction smells, had to leave door completely open for a whole day to let painters do their job , no elevator for 2 days, dishwasher didn’t work at all for our 5 day stay.
