    Very confused! Not for us and won’t be back.

    Not a lot. It felt as if it was a family run affair, but not the warm, welcoming family run place. The young man was friendly, helpful, welcoming, but the rest seemed to just sit around, unsmiling. There was a lovely bar by the pool. When I was looking around the man behind the bar was not at all friendly. When I went back there was no one there so went to find the young man. He was really the only good thing about the place. As we were just overnighting on our way further south, the pool was of no interest to us. It looked good and I am sure if one was wanting to stay there it would be very welcome. Parking was on the premises with plenty of space. The room was good and the newly renovated bathroom was very well done.

    The evening meal was one of the worst we have had, which for an Italian meal, is difficult to achieve. I asked for a breakdown of the bill so I could check what we actually paid for it. It was cheap, but both of us would have preferred to pay a bit more to have something that was enjoyable. The ‘staff’ always seemed to be sitting around doing very little. We took our pre dinner drinks to sit outside in the shade, not in the pool area. The seat cushions were dirty and there was dog excrement on the grass. We booked here because of the stunning reviews and really cannot understand why our experience was so different. We drive out to Italy from the UK and back again twice every year. We have our favourite stops, but we also like to try new places. Did we stay here on a bad night? Was the person who normally cooks not available that night? Where were all the friendly staff?

    Het zwembad en de bar. Het eten was eenvoudig maar lekker. Zeer gastvrije familie.

    Kamer en badkamer wat smoezelig. Balkonstoelen kapot.
