  A peaceful rural stay in spotless accommodation with a wonderfully welcoming hostess

  We loved our week-long stay with Francesca (and Clotilde!). The room was comfortable, spacious and beautiful, the bathroom and shower were great, and the location of the Biomatto farm was perfect for us - easy drive from Milan Malpensa, close to town while also being rural and very peaceful, and an easy drive to wherever we wanted to get to along Lake Maggiore's shores and beyond. We were spoiled for breakfast every day, with freshly baked goodies courtesy of Francesca, fresh squeezed orange or blueberry juices, organic locally grown fruits, local alpine cheeses, natural yoghurt, granola, local organic honey...breakfast was a little different every day and we looked forward to seeing what was on the table each morning. We found plenty of wonderful local eateries (and particularly recommend Terrazza Paradiso for the amazing pizzas and incredible views over the lake from the terrace, and Fuoco & Farina in town). Recommended!

  Entusiasmo e pace

  Siamo stati 2 notti in questo splendido Biomatto… A pochi km da Arona, immerso nel bosco e nella tranquillità della natura. Diventa speciale, dopo aver visitato le bellezze della zona, tornare a Biomatto per un po di pace, natura e tranquillità. Si trova in un posto tranquillo tra i boschi e Francesca è il valore aggiunto del progetto, con il suo entusiasmo, le sue idee e le mille attività di micro agricoltura ma non solo. Un punto di riferimento per la comunità 🌈 La colazione non è compresa ma vale la penna prendersi del tempo e gustarla con calma. Prodotti casalinghi, pane, dolci, marmellate, e altri prodotti di loro produzione. Le camere arredate con gusto sono veramente molto belle, funzionali e accoglienti. Sicuramente consigliato e speriamo di tornarci anche noi nuovamente

  Traumhafte Lage. Absolute Ruhe in einem kleinen Wald und trotzdem nur wenige Minuten (mit dem Auto) zum See. Francesca ist eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin. Ihr Frühstück (fast alles aus eigener Produktion) ist der beste Start in den Tag, den man sich wünschen kann.

  Rustig verblijf in bosrijke omgevingen toch dicht bij het Lago Maggiore, overtrof onze verwachting.

  Wij hebben een voortreffelijk verblijf gehad bij Francesca. Gelegen in een heel rustige en schaduwrijke omgeving heeft de kamer en omgeving onze verwachtingen meer dan overtroffen. Francesca is een heel fijne uitbater die ons met raad kon bijstaan over wat we in de buurt konden doen. Ze was heel flexibel toen we laat toekwamen na druk verkeer. Je bent heel snel in Arona waar het prettig wandelen is langs de oever van het Lago Maggiore, met leuke restaurants en bars voor een apperitivo.
