    Perfect peaceful getaway

    A super cozy getaway, to relax with the family town is close 5 min drive with good restaurants. The beach is very cozy and makes the morning perfect with a swim to begin the day, highly recommend this place if you want peace with the family

    The property was not accurately described on the web site and not the quiet peaceful retreat we were expecting.

    The basic amenities were passable but some aspects really need attention especially the shower which had a broken door and was dirty, the lovely beach was nearby (but NOT private - it is a public beach with a fenced private area behind it with sun loungers and equipment). The staff were generally responsive - except on departure when we found ourselves locked in at the perimeter gate in the dark with a ferry to catch! Having been promised it would be opened for us by the staff and after many phone calls we had to climb over and lift heavy bags and a bicycle over the gate.

    ATTENTION - the photos on booking.com are a mixture from all the properties ! Be VERY careful to find out which property (out of the total of 8) you have booked… ours (No.5) was at sea level with trees blocking any sea view, neighbours nearby and sandwiched between an area where farm machinery is kept and a chicken /duck pen. There was NOT a sea view as advertised and plenty of noise (from frequent vehicles, a nearby villa and the cockerel 5m from the bedroom window at 5.30 every morning)
