    Too far out of town without car.

    Pool. Room.

    I understand it was St Francis's Day of passing, yet we tried to get a taxi to the train station 2 hours before departure. We managed to get one and made the train by 2 minutes. Despite this, we asked and offered to pay the owner 60 euro for a lift. She said she doesn't offer this service. We paid 65 euro $110 AUD twice to get to the old town Assisi.. F#cking ridiculous. We walked twice to the shops 6km round trip with baggage. Too far from town. Hire a car or stay in the old town.
